Arizona Iced Tea served as the presenting sponsor of the first Skate Cypher hosted by Roller Skate Detroit. Their support helped expand access to the event and provided refreshments for participants during the session.
The Skate Cypher format centers on a circle-style skate session where participants enter the floor individually to showcase their style and movement.
As part of the sponsorship, Arizona Iced Tea covered the majority of the event registration cost, reducing participant registration to $10 and allowing more skaters to take part in the inaugural session.
Participants also had access to a selection of Arizona Iced Tea beverages throughout the event.
The first Skate Cypher helped establish what would become a recurring community session celebrating creativity, rhythm, and individual skating style.
