No. Twilight Skate on the River is a no-cost community event presented by Sarovyn in partnership with the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge.
There is no admission fee.
No. Registration is not required to attend Twilight Skate on the River.
All participating guests must complete the required waiver and media release before skating.
The forms may be completed online before the event or completed during on-site check-in.
No. Completing the waiver and media release before the event is optional.
Guests who complete the forms online before the event will receive a unique identifier code by email. Presenting that code at check-in will allow staff to confirm the completed forms and expedite the check-in process.
Guests who have not completed the forms in advance may complete them when they arrive.
A unique identifier code will be emailed to you after the forms are completed.
Bring that code with you and present it at check-in so staff can confirm your completed waiver and media release.
Each participating person must be checked in before entering the skating area.
Yes. Every person who will skate must be covered by a completed participation waiver.
Adults must complete their own waiver. A parent, guardian, or responsible accompanying adult must complete the required forms for each participating minor in their care.
Yes. The media release section must be completed for every participating adult and minor.
You may decline permission to be photographed or recorded. Guests who decline will be identified during check-in, and the media team will accommodate that selection throughout the event.
Adults must complete the media selection for themselves. The adult completing the forms for a minor must make a separate selection for each child in their care.
One adult may complete the forms for themselves and add multiple participating children.
The adult must provide the requested information and complete the waiver and media release for each child listed.
The confirmation email will provide the unique identifier information connected to the completed submission.
Bring the code provided in the email to check-in so staff can confirm all participants included on that submission.
Guests must report to the designated Sarovyn check-in area before entering the skating area.
